Eleanor and Vincent (both entombed inside the heart) will be battling you, and their health bars will be shared.
You discover that this boss lives inside Heart’s Desire, a house that leads to the roar of a huge beast underneath the town, after taking control of Wainwright who has abruptly gone off with Hammerlock following after to be abducted as well.
As you go through Heart’s Desire, you’ll come across these two, who tried to take over Wainwright and Hammerlock’s bonding ceremony at first.

DLC “Guns, Love, and Tentacles” Other Bosses Guide
Eleanor and the Heart: Fighting and Killing
You’ll begin by battling Eleanor, who will use her powers to harm you as well as call Bonded foes to attack you.
Eleanor may sometimes warp in Bonded opponents, who you can kill first or ignore throughout the battle.
If you run out of ammo, killing the Bonded is an excellent method to refill your stock.
When you’ve done enough damage to Eleanor, she’ll become invulnerable and stop attacking for a time, but the Vincent (within the heart) will begin attacking you instead.
You must aim for the crystals sticking out of the holes in the heart and tentacles in order to harm the heart.
Krichidons will spawn and float about while assaulting you during the phase against the heart, which you may kill to replenish your ammo.
Eleanor will begin to attack again after doing enough damage to the heart, and you will be able to damage the health bar by hitting Eleanor or the heart.
Eleanor may have abilities, but she still has humanoid flaws, causing headshots to inflict critical damage to her.
She may easily be struck in the head since she flies about in the air and does not try to block in any manner, leaving her vulnerable.
The Heart of the Matter (Vincent)
While the heart can only be harmed by firing the crystals, it has a weak point in the form of tiny glowing crystals.
Shooting the glowing crystals will cause the heart to suffer critical injury.
Attacks of Note
Spikes in energy (Eleanor)
Eleanor will summon 5 spikes that will be pushed by energy in your way and explode when they hit you.
These may be avoided by moving to the side, since they do not zero in on you and instead fly straight towards your previous position.
If you are too sluggish to move after escaping the first hit, jumping will assist you avoid the explosion damage.
Energy Ball with a Charge (Eleanor)
Eleanor builds up a huge ball by absorbing life from her summoned Bonded minions before hurling it at you.
The position of the ball will be recorded, and the size and power of the ability will be determined by the number of enemies she has drained.
Make sure you deal with the Bonded before she can drain them to avoid harm and decrease the size of the ball.
Swipe of the Tentacles (The Heart)
Vincent (The Heart) sweeps the area with a huge tentacle, inflicting damage and knocking you back if struck.
You may either leap over the tentacle or smash one of the crystals to halt the assault.
Pummeling (The Heart)
Vincent (The Heart) will strike the ground where you are standing many times with its enormous tentacles, knocking you repeatedly into the air.
To avoid being knocked into the air, remain beneath the tentacles when they are ready to strike the ground.
Drops of Note
Following the death of Eleanor & The Heart, a slew of treasure will disperse, ranging from common to epic, with a high possibility of legendary gear.
The “Love Drill” legendary handgun, as well as other weapons from the Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC, have a high probability of appearing among the legendary items.
There’s still a possibility to get some of the more generic weapons that aren’t part of the DLC.
- Staying motionless will very certainly result in you being slain by either the bosses or the generated mobs.
- If you’re running short on ammo, be sure to spare some for slaying the mobs.
- If you don’t think you’ll be able to slay the opponents with a set of four weapons, bring at least one kind of weapon.
- Because Eleanor & The Heart have a big health pool, target the vital areas to inflict greater harm.
- Start fleeing as soon as you notice Eleanor collecting energy from two or more opponents, since her blast has a long range.
- To keep opponents at bay and avoid assaults, try moving in a circular manner around the heart.
