Borderlands 3 is the latest installment in the AAA series of games. The game has been released to much fanfare and hype, but what does it mean for players? Here’s a walkthrough guide with tips on how to make your way through the game.
The borderlands 3 the demon in the dark bug is a glitch that can be found in Borderlands 3. This glitch allows players to kill enemies without taking damage.
- Side mission type Mission
- Nekrotafeya is a planet.
- Konrad’s Hold is a location in Konrad’s Hold.
- 35th level
The head of a robot named Wren has been found, and it begs for your help not just in putting it back together, but also in completing a mission that it has set out on.
Your mission is to assist this robot in reassembling itself and completing its quest for it in a cave linked to its slightly robot-fantasy tales.
This mission is an Easter egg in that it recreates its own rendition of a scenario from The Fellowship Of The Ring from The Lord Of The Rings.
Walkthrough of the Mission
After accepting the assignment, you’ll need to pull a lever to unlock a cave so you may go inside and find Wren’s corpse.
Grab Wren’s head and follow her to the cave’s waypoint, where she’ll beg you to reattach her head to her frame/body.
You’ll notice a robot body of a different color if you follow the waypoint, but regardless, you must reconnect Wren’s head so it can move on its own again.
Searching for Alkonost
Once Wren is up and running, follow it to a gate where it will declare there is no welcome party (much like the Fellowship Of The Ring) and will unlock the gateway for you to pass through.
Once the portal is open, Wren will instruct you to go on in search of Alkonost and The Expedition, after which you must battle your way to the waypoint, battling different varkids along the way.
When you get at the waypoint, you’ll see a robot called Lark coated with varkid feces, which you’ll have to remove with a melee attack.
After you’ve removed the feces, an alarm will go off, and you’ll have to interact with the body to turn it off.
How to Solve the Ring Puzzle
It will be revealed that you must solve the problem in the region with the rings that are floating about in an unusual manner.
Shooting through rings to hit the right buttons to open up the route leading to the next region is part of the problem.
In the region, you’ll see oddly colored and designed plates that you must stand on in order to be shown the proper ring orientation.
When you stand on the plates, the proper rings will light up and begin to move, indicating that you are in the correct position.
The button will light up and become green after you fire it through the rings, indicating that it has been triggered.
To unlock the gateway leading to the next section, you must complete the job three times. To solve the problem, locate all of the plates and fire through their matched rings.
The Search Continues
Continue on to the waypoint after completing the riddle and passing through the doorway, where you will continue your quest for Alkonost.
Follow the waypoint through a swarm of varkids until you reach a chamber where Alkonost’s arm has been left behind, which you must steal.
Once you have the arm, a nearby skull will fall, making a lengthy echoing sound as it falls into a hole (much as when Pippin, one of the hobbits, knocked a skull off of a skeleton, which had a similar response) alerting opponents of your existence.
Varkids will begin to spawn, and you’ll need to go to a neighboring location that has opened up since you dropped the skull.
You’ll be in a chamber where you’ll have to look for the last bot and then continue to the waypoint in the weird altar-like room.
A large-scale demon will emerge in front of you (similar to the Balrog in The Lord Of The Rings), frightening you, and Wren will tell you that you must kill it to avenge the demon’s ancestor.
After the affects of Lagromar’s terrifying visage fade away, it will be discovered that Lagromar is much smaller than you thought he would be, and you will have to kill him.
After killing Lagromar, it will drop Alkonost’s head, which you must pick up and return to Wren.
Getting Back to Wren
After you’ve acquired Alkonost’s head, you’ll need to find a way out of the region and travel back to the rear waypoint where you battled Lagromar.
Proceed to the waypoint, which will bring you down a hallway that will lead you to the chamber where Wren was last seen.
Speak with Wren to return the head and arm you acquired, and the task will be finished soon after.
Rewards for the Demon In The Dark Mission
Completing The Demon In The Dark will get you approximately 1 Eridian as well as the rare shotgun “Chomper.”
- The puzzle may be difficult to grasp at first, but after you understand how it works, all you have to do is search for the plates.
- Because you’ll mainly be battling varkids, high-damage weaponry, like incendiary weapons, may make the task much simpler.
- Lagromar isn’t very dangerous, so there’s no need to be too careful while dealing with him.
- Stay in the center of the rooms or lure them through tight doorways to avoid being cornered by varkids in one area. There will be a lot of them in the mission, and you don’t want to be pinned in corners or surrounded, so stay in the center of the rooms or lure them through tight doorways to deal with them quickly.
