Objectives of the Empire Hunt
Look for Phylaks.
Get in your car and go for the waypoint, which will lead you to Nexus, Phylak’s hiding place.
As soon as you reach the region, you’ll see that the Vex and Fallen are fighting, and you may choose to battle your way past them or just go to the finish to escape the conflict.
There will be obstacles in your way, and they will be linked to an energy-shielded crystal.
You must fight the Principle Wyvern in the region to remove the shields and destroy the crystals.
Continue on until you reach the Well of Infinitude, where the bulk of the area has been taken over by Fallen foes.
The Fallen Must Be Defeated
Fight your way through the area’s Fallen foes and make your way to the finish until you hit a barrier.
The barrier will come down after all of the surrounding Fallen foes have been defeated, and you will be free to go on to the next location.
Look for Phylaks (Part 2)
Continue your hunt for Phylaks until you come to an open region with an Elite version of a Brig.
There will be a barrier that will only come down after you have defeated the bring, and you will then face Phylaks, The Warrior, in the next section.
Phylaks must be defeated.
Phylaks will drop down and attack you as soon as you reach the location, along with other Fallen foes that come with her.
Phylaks will force the earth to vanish and travel to a higher location every time you decrease her health by approximately one bar.
You’ll need to get to high ground quickly since the longer you remain off a platform, the worse your health will get.
This will happen three times, requiring you to move three times to hunt down Phylaks throughout the battle.
- During this Empire Hunt, you may bypass most of the early opponents and just go for the waypoint until you reach Phylaks.
- Phylaks has the ability to use Stasis, so be cautious if you’re struck by one of her abilities or you’ll be delayed or frozen.
- In Destiny 2, the Empire Hunt is the first of three Empire Hunts that you will face.
Phylaks, The Warrior is Eramis’ greatest warrior, and eliminating her would have had a significant effect on Eramis and her followers.
You may take Phylaks’ Splinter of Darkness after defeating her and use it to strengthen your own for greater control over the Stasis power.
While Variks believes that killing Phylaks would disperse Erami’s troops, it is well known that there are more out there, and Ghost agrees, while pointing out that it is a good start.
