- Main Quest is the kind of quest you’re looking for.
- Ancient Forest is the location of the quest.
- 2nd place in the quest
A pesky Kulu-Ya-Ku was found nearby during the last bounty mission, Rebuild The Ancient Forest Camp.
It is up to you to hunt down the monster and take care of it so that you may continue building up a new camp in the intended site.
The new camp cannot be constructed in the region until the Kulu-Ya-Ku is dealt with, since it will continue to steal from it.
Your mission is to hunt down and kill the roaming Kulu-Ya-Ku in the Ancient Forest’s new camp site.
Once the quest has started, go to Sector 5 or, since the Kulu-Ya-Ku is most likely to be found there.
Those who want to continue hunting it during the Rebuild The Ancient Forest Camp bounty will be able to do so by following traces when the new goal is introduced.
As you enter Sector 5 and look about, you should be able to see tracks that will help you hunt down the monster.
You will be able to track the monster quicker if you completed this task during the Rebuild The Ancient Forest Camp bounty.
You will come face to face with the Kulu-Ya-Ku if you follow the Kulu-Ya-tracks Ku’s into the region where it roams.
Begin fighting the Kulu-Ya-Ku, but don’t anticipate it to stay for long since it will most likely flee during the initial confrontation.
Because the monster will flee a great distance before trying to fight back, you’ll have to pursue it down.
When the Kulu-Ya-Ku retaliates, start doing as much damage as you can, which will ultimately cause it to flee.
The Kulu-Ya-Ku will flee to another location and halt when it arrives, trying to fight back.
It is possible to kill the monster at this point, but if you inflict enough damage and let it heal, it will try to flee once again.
The monster will try to flee further into the forest, and you may be lured into an area where Kestodon are present.
You may continue to fight the Kulu-Ya-Ku or deal with the Kestodon first, and you will most likely kill the monster at this point in the quest.
Rewards for completing quests
After completing the Bird-Brained Bandit quest, you will get 1800 Zenny and the Urgent: Pukei-Pukei Hunt will become available soon after.
- If you don’t give constant damage to the Kulu-Ya-Ku, it will run away a lot, which may be very irritating.
- When it’s carrying a rock, keep an eye out since it’ll try to crush you with it and can even deflect certain strikes.
- To avoid striking the rock or getting in the way as the monster rushes forward, it’s better to wait for it to attack and then go for its flanks.
